Satan is knocking
When Satan first started knocking it was so quiet I could not hear it. Over time the knocking has gotten louder and louder, staying steady the whole time. The knocking now is a very loud BOOM BOOM BOOM. So loud that I find it very hard to hear God's gentle whispers. I want to open the door, but I know that it would be so very bad to do so. I just want the knocking to stop! It hurts every time I hear the booms. How long will the lock hold? How long can I keep Satan outside? He's very good at what he does. I know God is so much stronger than Satan, but Satan is so much louder. he seems to have a way of getting your attention and holding it. How do I quiet the knocking? How do i find peace within myself?

You cannot quiet the knocking. Only Christ can do that.
ReplyDeleteI have been tormented by Evil on many occasions. I tirelessly 'fought' off the paralyzing fears and terror...but I got very tired and weak.
God puts people in our lives to help us back to the path of Light. In order to reach out, we need to 'name' the demons in our life in order to have Christ bind them and send them out. Sometimes it takes others praying for our release.
